draft picks for future years

When reviewing the rulebook I noticed that I had forgotton to add this part to the draft section which had always been a part of it .


Draft picks for the following season are not put into play for official usage until Jan 1

for example -the 2012 draft picks will not be available for usage until Jan 1 , 2011

as of now , we all have our 2011 picks to use in trades
come Jan 1 , 2011 , you will also have your 2012 picks .

its the way we handled things in h3hfhl for 6 years

prevents gm's who may not be interested in the league anymore from sabotaging future years draft picks for any potential new gm .

is it necessary with a crew of 12 mature gm's ?
maybe not , but its probably good idea to keep it in place for a season and revisit it in the 2011 offseason
