| there are 3 divisions of 4 teams
borje salming division gilbert perreault division bernie parent division
once the league fills up I will use a draft randomizer to randomly assign each of us to a division
the divisions are merely an extra title to shoot for during the regular season -most fp's = division winner
you do not play against your division rivals more often than the rest of the league during the regular season -you play everyone in entire league twice = 22 matchs

| Clearly we should swap out Philly and Quebec to make the Salming Divison all teams based in Canada |

| Whoo hooo... an all Canadian division. Hey Butch: I have a question for you about making the playoffs. If I understand it correctly, the current plan is for the top 3 teams in each division to make the playoffs. Would you consider a suggestion here. There well could be a very strong division whereby the 4th team in a division could have a higher overall standing than some teams that do make the playoffs. Would you perhaps consider the top 2 teams in each division and then the next 4 highest placed teams vice your current plan? | |

| divisions have nothing to do with who makes the playoffs Steve
top 9 teams make the playoffs no matter which division they are in
the divisions are merely a regular season competition within the competition ; put up more fp's than your division foes , you get a division title and some bragging rights .

| Excellent. Thanks for the clarification Butch... now all there is left to do is be competitive enough to give myself a chance. | |
